Can’t believe he’s home

Met Public Enemy tonight. That’s after setting up their private Mezzanine function. Totally unplanned experience. Friendliest, most subtly epic people to be sat in a room with.

Oh and Prince turned up later to join them on stage.

Quote of the night:

Flavor Flav to Alistair (in the most considerate tone): “Loved those lemon lime and bitters tonight. You, baby, you spoilt me, spoilt me!”

Thursday night.

Tobias Fröberg - When We Go To War (by playgroundmusic)

Ludo is back in 2 weeks. There are no words, just the knowledge that bed will be where all my free time is spent. Food, cheese, tequila, lazy coffee mornings and last cigarettes are what I’m waiting for.

We’re flying to France for 3 months around August for Christian, his father’s birthday and then skiing in the Alps over Christmas followed by New Year in Berlin.

This is such a loose outline which is then followed by our move to Belgium (that happened).

I’m taking a secondary job soon, I won’t have much time and I’m not normally the kind of person that can manage that work load but 4 months of saving vs. our future together completely comforts any residual doubt.

Long Way From Love

It’s been 3 weeks since Ludo (had to leave) left Melbourne, he’ll be back at the end of May but only on a 90 day tourist visa. It was naturally emotional and blurry the first week then I got the hang of working a lot and meeting new people and being distracted. Between everything else that’s happening in my life, I’d just like that I could wake up next to him every morning so that we be us and can discuss our life outside of Skype and short Facebook messages, because I’m not good at that. Tonight is feeling pretty lonely and tired. This is just a tiny test in comparison to the next 4-5 months of saving for our life back in Europe with visas, borders, work, immigration, bank accounts. Totally feeling way out of my comfort zone.

JUST THE BEGINNING.
